God's Vision for Trinity

(God's will for the future of our congregation)

Our community will see us as a "pillar of strength" and an increasingly visible beacon of hope as we share the Gospel.

Our guests will be "wowed" by their experience as they are welcomed, accepted where they are, and inspired by God's love shown to them.

Our members will be connected, nurtured, energized and empowered to boldly step out to share the Gospel.

-----------------------------------------------

God's Goal for Trinity

(Our first destination on our journey toward God's vision)

Our worship, music, programs and facilities will enhance our ministry and grow our congregation with every member involved in connecting the community to Christ.

-----------------------------------------------

God's Strategy for Trinity

(The methods God wants us to use to accomplish His goal)

Develop and implement a strong family ministry program grounded in the Word and steeped in Prayer.

---------------------------------------------

God's Tactics for Trinity

(Trinity’s understanding of how and when God wants us

to accomplish His Strategies for us.)

Enhance our worship services (music, times, styles, speakers, etc.)

Open our facilities to the community (classes, meals, activities, etc.)

Establish a children’s ministry that includes daycare, preschool, before & after school programs and leading to a day school

Increase communication through Multimedia (TV, Internet, email, website, etc.)

Increase social/fellowship opportunities

Participate in the District’s Family Life Academy

Our Statement of Faith and Beliefs

We believe and joyfully profess Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior of all.  As individuals and as a church body, all that we do, say and affirm centers on Jesus Christ and God's true, inspired Word, the Holy Bible.  We believe in the Triune God--God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit--ONE God, yet three distinct "persons."

We believe that we have sinned and because of that have been separated from God.  We believe we cannot rescue ourselves from this separation but that God provided the answer:  He sent His Son into our world to live a perfect life and die in our place for our forgiveness on the cross; He rose on the third day to give us the promise of eternal life.  God's Word tells us that we are saved ONLY by God's grace (undeserved love), through faith in Jesus Christ, and not by ourselves or what we do.

We believe that the people of God need the strengths and encouragement found in their gathering together around the Word of God and the Sacraments which Christ has given His Church.  We follow the example of the early Christian church in joining together for worship and nurturing, for fellowship and service.  Finally, we believe that it is our purpose to follow our Lord's words, to make disciples, by building up families in Christ so that they, too, can know Jesus, trust in Him and grow in Him.

*Practice on Communion:  Because those who eat and drink our Lord's body and blood unworthily do so to their great harm, and because Holy Communion is a confession of the faith which is confessed at this altar, any who are not instructed, in doubt, or who hold a confession differing from that of this congregation and the LCMS, and yet desire to receive this Sacrament, are asked first to speak with the Pastor or an Elder before the service.
